I actually found an american beer that i rather like..shhhh dont tell the germans!.. it is called Yeuling or something along those lines.

Yeungling! Yeha! Everyone always thinks you're joking the first time they hear the name, but it's a seriously rich beer. I dunno if you can get it there, but they also make a darker version called Yeungling Black and Tan.

I also like the Samuel Adams seasonals. Their Octoberfest brew is amazing.
